The Coffee Pot
The Beacon Centre has a fully resourced coffee shop which is open daily from Monday to Friday from 9:15am to 3:15pm except Wednesday 12.00pm – 3.15pm for coffee, breakfasts, lunches and hot and cold snacks.It is also available to hire for various functions on request – We can also deliver your buffet lunch to your office so please give us a call and see what we can do for you.

Our Curry is a favorite with our regulars @£3.25 per portion (includes Chips or Rice)

Fledglings Nursery
Did you know there is now a sessional nursery running in the Beacon Centre? It runs morning and afternoon sessions from Monday to Friday give the centre a ring to find out more details.

Youth Activities at the Beacon Centre
The Safe Zone Youth Lounge has a number of activities for a number of age groups taking place throughout the week. For the current youth programme click here

Room Hire. The centre is now being used by a variety of clients from business users to local government agencies and local community users. We are please to see the development in the range of customers making use of the centre. If you are interested in hiring a room for a one off event or for an ongoing activity then why not give us a ring and talk to Martyn, the centre manager.

Beacon Centre offers extra school tuition
Perhaps you know someone who needs a little extra help with thier high school work? Why not check out the Beacon Tuition Centre offers tuition to pupils of all abilities. It caters  for pupils aged 7 -16 and offers tuition in English and Mathematics. Those who run the school  prepare each child for any testing they will undergo in school, including SAT's  and GCSE's. About the Centre

The Beacon Centre is a community centre building with a total floor space of 1300sqm's with rooms available for hire for community and business purposes. It's first phase was completed in Autumn 2005.

The Beacon Centre activity base is still being developed and each month new activities and users are being added to the list of those using and accessing this exciting modern facility.

The Centre has a large car park and is in easy access of the A48 and M4 and Cardiff.

The Centre is also excellent community resources and there are preferential hire rate for community activities based in the centre.

Functions of the Beacon Centre

The Beacon centre is a multipurpose community based centre which can accommodate the following:

A community cafe - which is open from Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 3:15pm except Wednesdays 12.00pm-3.15pm. Buffet lunches available on site or delivered to your door.

Flexible community training space for community training for employment e.g. in computer skills, child care - creche and after school club, lifelong learning, literacy numeracy, advice and information centre.

Flexible function hire: From children's parties to wedding receptions and everything in between. The centre has all the facilities for a great venue for these functions

Flexible workshop space with meeting rooms, art/drama/music, workshop space.

Office space for community groups. This available for hire at good rates in this excellent facility with internet access and other office facilities

Rooms to hire for business and social activities such as training facilities, keep fit classes, weight watchers and other community activities
